the sky is red & it smells toasty in the air

as if Wednesday's events didn't dampen the rest of my week, i wake up Saturday morning and discover that there's fires all over Corona & Yorba Linda area along with the other fires occuring in Sylmar & other areas of the Los Angeles area. The fires in Corona are almost literally in my cousin's back yard! there have been so many houses that were completely burned down and it's so sad to see these houses on fire. the weather here at home though is so icky. the sky is really red & foggy-ish and it smells BADDDDD. like roasted marshmallows or something! anyway, prayers go out to everyone who lost their homes or who were effected by the fires.
